WebQuest

This week we talked about and begin to work with WebQuest.  I think that the webquest will allow us to work better as a group and be able to get thing much easier as a group.  I think that the process of adding the information to the space we easy and able to be done in just a few clicks.  I think that how the webquest is sat up will allow not only me but other users be able to see what I have written along with others and make necessary changes to it which in turn will help me and others out there.  You are able to use your opinion and post resources for information that you find so that others may visit the information for further references.

Delicious Tags/annotations

I just wanted to let you know how I felt about the delicious site that we created for EDU 271.  I think that that is a neat way on how to keep everything together.  Many times I have used different computers and have saved some sites that I liked on it and then when I got ready to use it the computer was not available or even worse not working any more.  I think that this site will surely help me to not have to worry about that problem any more.  I think that the site can really help students that are having research groups because each member will be able to see the sites that the other memebers have found and also get help by looking at what others that are not in the group have found also which will really cut down on the amount of time that they had to research a certain topic.  In the classroom, I can see myself tell parents about the site and giving them different websites that I thought was of interest for the students in the classroom.  This will help build that connection of school and home working together.

Me and Technology

Durin this course I hope to learn more about technology and what and how I can use it more inside the classroom.  I hope to learn more about the different technology that is out there and how to use them in appropriate ways to make my job and also my world around me more useful with technology.  I do not know alot about technology but I have learned a little about the computer, using my digital camera and also using my smart phone that I recently got.  I chose these goals because I think that technology is the future and we are using it more and more each day.  I think that if you don't learn how to use technology then you will be lost in the future to come.  Many people are scared of all of the technology that have come about but you need to just go ahead and enbrace it because it is here to stay.
